Tasos met with us at the Woodcraft Vendor Trade Show and went through his clamp display with his usual high energy and expertise indicative of his BESSEY® product knowledge. Tasos did such a great job, we’ll let the video do the talking.
Tasos has been with BESSEY® since 2005 and is the National Sales Manager for Canada and Senior Manager for U.S. National accounts. With a marketing communications background, Tasos admits he doesn’t get much time to spend in the woodshop, and has only turned his first pen last year, learning from Woodcraft Product Development Manager, Brian Renner. That being said, Tasos spends a lot of time on the road at many different Woodcraft stores across the nation by participating in the classrooms and talking with franchise owners, employees and customers to learn how he can help the woodworker by listening to their needs and taking suggestions back to BESSEY®. Tasos stated, “By listening to Woodcraft customers, I know that woodworking can be such an enjoyable hobby or profession with results of creating fine valuable projects to improve lifestyles and value to their homes.” Tasos also mentioned that he and Bessey products are involved in the schools as well as the Fresh Wood Student Skills Competition with AWFS from both the welding and industrial education areas.
Tasos is a big believer in BESSEY®. “It’s the right product for so many applications.” He adds, “I have learned much woodworking expertise from Woodcraft and from listening to woodworkers which in turn helps me demonstrate and teach my products successfully.”
