Woodcraft.com Has a New Look

Woodcraft’s Internet Marketing Team have been hard at work redesigning the Woodcraft.com sales website, making the user interface easier to interact with. While not compromising our brand identity, this new site enhances the customer’s shopping experience. It offers brighter, clearer pages with larger drop downs for reading and choosing items. The navigation and search areas feature larger thumbnail images. Bolder pictures enhance every page and category area. Categories are expanded to include specific information in which to search by. Monthly special offerings, special sales, sweepstakes and contests will pictorially change giving time for you find out all the great stuff offered by Woodcraft.

Starting with the header, the Sign up, Log In, Help, Email Signup, Find A Store and Search Bar have been moved to the very top of the page for clear viewing and use.

You can find convenient links to the Sales Flyer, Catalog, New Items, Gift Cards, Woodcraft Magazine and Shopping Cart on the right side of the header as well.

Drop down categories have been added for Shop Tools & Supplies, including individual item listings of every tool under each category.

Shop Sales & Specials are listed with Clearance, Overstocks, Wood Deals and Rebates.

A Resource area clearly shows how to get information from all of our Social Media outlets, Reading Articles, National Store Locations, Class offerings, The Pen Designer, Franchise Opportunities, Search Instructions and the Teacher Forum.

Five of our most Popular Categories are supported by product sub-categories. For example by clicking on Table Saws & Accessories…

…Inside those pages are many different ways to find what you are looking for in the product. Choices like Brands, Features, Made In USA, Type, Style, Size, Specifications and many others.

Using the options in the left navigation bar area, it is now easier to zero in on the exact product you are looking for. For example, router bits can be sorted by Product Category, Brands, Features, Profiles and other ways. Saws & Saw Blades can be sorted by tooth count, type, sizes and more… all on the fly. The left navigation bar will also show if the product ships from Woodcraft or direct from a manufacturer. Product ratings are also show here.

In the Footer of each page you will find links to all of our Services, Woodcraft information, Partner Sites, Policies, Customer Satisfaction Quotes and a Sign Up area for Email Deals.

As always, you can be assured the site is secure with our Buy Safe Guarantee and McAfee Security.

Other site changes include:

  • Improved the thank you page to include an order summary.
  • Centralized drop down menu with all of the specials/sales, clearance, overstocks, wood deals, rebates
  • You can now browse all tool & accessories items in one drop down list in Shop Tools & Supplies
  • The largest change is the addition of Guided Navigation which helps shoppers sort & refine their search even when using the drop down navigation. No more jumping in and out of multiple categories trying to find the desired product(s).

We’ve also made improvements to the layout of the individual Woodcraft Store pages, adding links to their Facebook, YouTube, Twitter accounts and made it easier to share what’s happening at your favorite store.

From products to customer support, it’s now easier to get everything you want and need from Woodcraft.

BIG improvement. I am fortunate to live near a Woodcraft store, however I often use the web site to find a particular item and check inventory before visiting the store. The new web site format works. I can easily search for and find any item. The pictures are accurate and the other information such as classes and instructions are better organized and presented, too. I'm sure that the revamped web site took many hours of work, but it is first rate now. Bill Reply
