Woodcraft Introduces First Tool Box Store

The leading woodworking tool retailer Woodcraft has opened its first Tool Box by Woodcraft store in Chattanooga, a smaller version of the more than 70 Woodcraft retail stores located in larger metropolitan areas.  Grand opening ceremonies are planned for the weekend of Oct. 3-4, 2014.

“Woodcraft is opening Tool Box by Woodcraft stores to bring Woodcraft’s best-selling woodworking tools, accessories, and supplies to areas not served by our larger stores,” Woodcraft president Jody Garrett said.  “Woodcraft wants to make its quality line of products available in more areas of the country, as well as closer to loyal Woodcraft customers.”

According to Garrett, Tool Box by Woodcraft has been developed in a manner that will allow the introduction of Woodcraft retail locations in smaller markets across the US.

“By establishing the Tool Box by Woodcraft, our hope is to share the Woodcraft retail experience with more customers, as well as offer existing customers the convenience of shopping closer to home or shopping in a retail store for the first time,” Garrett said.  “Woodcraft understands that many shoppers enjoy seeing products firsthand, as well as face-to-face exchange with employees who are also woodworkers ready to offer assistance and advice.”

Although the Tool Box by Woodcraft is smaller in size and product offering, vice president for sales and marketing Vince Grlovich assures visitors they will see the core items that define the Woodcraft brand.  “Customers will still find the most popular Woodcraft products, along with a scaled down offering of larger items such as power tools,” Grlovich said,  “and products not available in the store may be ordered for store or home delivery.”

Quality products are not the only aspect of the Woodcraft retail shopping experience that Tool Box by Woodcraft visitors will discover. “Visitors will find the same customer-oriented service that is a hallmark of the larger Woodcraft retail stores,” Gary Lombard, vice president retail/franchise development, said.   “Also like its larger counterparts, Tool Box by Woodcraft will host free product demonstrations on a regular basis to provide additional how-to guidance for customers,”
